AEW has announced that FTR has been suspended and will be replaced by The Dark Order’s John Silver and Alex Reynolds in the number 1 contenders battle royal.
According to a tweet sent out by AEW, FTR will be suspended for 1 week “upon review of their conduct after the Jungle Boy v. Dax Harwood match.”
The suspension is clearly part of the storyline but it’s not clear if this is a cover for something else that is preventing them from appearing on the show.
Also, it was announced during Impact Wrestling on AXS TV that Matt Hardy and Hangman Page will team up to face Chaos Project (Luther and Serpentico). The match was announced during the “paid announcement” portion of Impact.
AEW Dynamite: Beach Break will feature the following:
