WWE Chief Brand Officer and former World Champion Paul “Triple H” Levesque kicked off the second hour of Monday Night Raw in Chicago to make a “huge announcement” that would rock the foundation of WWE.

Triple H said that he wants to ensure that WWE is “all that it could be” for generations going forward.

Triple H said that Roman Reigns negotiated into his contract that he would wrestle less and defend his title less often. Triple H then made the stunning announcement that the WWE Draft will change WWE at its very core, because Roman Reigns will stay on whichever brand he gets drafted to while the other brand will determine a new World champion.

On Saturday, May 27 at Night of Champions, a new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned and that person will defend “anywhere, any place, anytime, all over the world.”
